Bohus Cup is one of Sweden's largest indoor handball tournaments with nearly 1,000 matches played on 30 courts with everything from girls and boys 9- to 16-year-olds and parahandball.
In 2022, the tournament managed to broadcast all games from all courts live and on demand on Solidsport and which attracted over 16,000 unique viewers.
A successful partnership that now has been extended with a new multi-year agreement in place and which means that the classic tournament will continue to be able to be followed live via Handball Play – the new customized streaming platform for Swedish Handball, powered by Solidsport.
- We have entered into a collaboration to ensure that supporters who cannot be there during the tournament get a chance to still see and follow their teams. Via Handboll Play, we make it possible to broadcast live and share all the excitement while supporters, parents and relatives can take part in all content via a common platform, says Mikael Bengtsson, President of Kungälvs HK and Bohus Cup.
- We’re proud and happy that we can continue to work with one of Sweden's largest and most famous handball tournaments. It has been a successful collaboration that we look forward to developing in the coming years, says Thomas Lindén, CEO at Solidsport.
The next edition of the Bohus Cup will be played on 12-13 May 2023.
