Solidsport named official streaming partner of the Deutschland-Cups

Solidsport is announced as the official streaming partner for Deutschland-Cup – the german youth championships in Handball. Partnership ensures comprehensive live and on demand offerings around the highlight event of the handball county selection teams. 

The two organizers of the “Deutschland-Cups”, the handball association Berlin and the handball association Württemberg, are partnering up with the streaming provider Solidsport. Two new partnerships that now makes it possible to broadcast the German championship of the selection teams of the regional associations.

For the first time, all games of the male and female competitions in Deutschland Cup, will be streamed live and made available on demand. This will take place from the 12th to 14th of April in Berlin and from the 22nd to 24th of April in the handball region of Württemberg.

From previous years, we know that the fans of the players of the selection teams have their fingers crossed especially in their home clubs. Therefore, we are pleased to be able to take the service for all supporters to the next level this year and stream all matches of the Deutschland-Cup male live for the first time. We have already been working very successfully with Solidsport since the start of the 2021/22 season and we are happy to expand our cooperation

At the Deutschland-Cup, the selection teams from 16 handball associations of the 2005 and younger boys' and 2006 and younger girls' age groups will compete for the prestigious title of German champion.

On each of the three days of the tournament, all games will be broadcasted live and on demand as individual games on the Deutschland-Cups streaming channels. Solidsports tried and tested streaming solutions, which are already very popular in both host associations, will be used. Highlights and interviews, as well as numerous guest commentators, round off the video offering in the premiere year of the collaboration.

Not only families, club members and friends can participate in the Deutschland-Cup from a distance, also the athletes and coaches themselves have the opportunity to analyze and optimize their performance directly after the match. The video offer also provides spectators and participants with important added value,"

A nice side effect of the streaming partnership is that all proceeds from the paid service flow directly into the youth development work of the associations. So, viewers become supporters of German junior handball in two senses.
