Solidsport continues to establish itself on the Finnish market. Next partner to join Europe’s leading sport streaming platform is the Finnish Volleyball Association.
Solidsport and the Finnish Volleyball Association have agreed on a cooperation deal, making it possible for all volleyball clubs to broadcast their games on Solidsport and creating a new source of income at the same time.
– We already have similar cooperations with many other sport associations in Finland and we are confident that there will be same kind of success with Volleyball, says Sauli Silvonen, Country Manager at Solidsport Finland.
With this agreement the Volleyball Association and Solidsport aim to offer to the viewers, supporters and coaching staffs a single usable tool and channel to watch games.
Every team or club is now recommended to join Solidsport. Specific league channels will also be offered for different age groups and in which a viewer can watch all the age group's games with a single payment – supporting their favorite club at the same time.
But that’s not all. Live scoring on the league channels will also be available directly from an exclusive data integration with the livestats system TorneoPal.
– The main goal is always to support the clubs by giving the viewers a chance to view all the matches. We only benefit when the clubs benefit. Our aim is to have a model that serves all parties of this equation", says Silvonen.
– Live streaming of the games has been steadily growing among the volleyball clubs in Finland. Clubs have been broadcasting within the means of their own skill levels via various applications. Platforms have been somewhat scattered and with this agreement the Volleyball Association and Solidsport aim to offer to the viewers, supporters and coaching staffs a single usable tool and channel to find and watch games from all the levels excluding the Mestaruusliiga, says the CEO of the Finnish Volleyball Association Olli-Pekka Karjalainen.
Solidsport was founded with the vision of enabling all sports at all levels. That by creating a free and easy streaming platform that enables everyone to broadcast their sport live. Since the start, 160 000+ games and sporting events have been broadcasted on Solidsport, generating 5 000 000€+ in revenue to those thousands teams and clubs using the platform.
