At the third edition of the German International Youth Championships (GIYC), the handball stars of tomorrow will meet in the hall of the Rather Waldstadion. An event that this year also will be broadcasted live thanks to a new partnership with Solidsport.

Four teams from Germany and four international A-youth teams will be taking part from 29 to 31 of August in Düsseldorf: THW Kiel, SC Magdeburg, Füchse Berlin, Rhein-Neckar Löwen, GOG Håndbold (Denmark), RK Celje (Slovenia), FC Porto (Portugal) and Veszprémi KKFT (Hungary). The tournament is a cooperation project between the German Handball Federation, the LIQUI MOLY Handball Bundesliga and D.SPORTS to promotes the future of professional handball.

Commentary in German and English
New this year is the cooperation with the streaming service provider Solidsport, which will present all 24 matches live and "on demand" as a partner of the 3rd edition of the GIYC. All matches will be accompanied by two commentators on the microphone. If a German team is involved, there will be a German commentary; if two international teams play against each other, there will be an English commentary. In addition, on-field interviews, highlights and behind-the-scenes content will be part of the free video offer. The GIYC will be shown at https://solidsport.com/giyc.

Live content that puts the focus on the participants

"We are very grateful to welcome the German International Youth Championships to Solidsport this year and are a proud partner of the event. Together with the team from D.SPORTS, we have developed a concept that not only guarantees entertaining live content and, above all, puts the focus on the participants, but also gives the athletes immediate access to video analysis. Top sport deserves top service - that is our modest contribution to the promotion of professional handball,"

-Henry Blunck, Country Manager Solidsport DACH.

"With Solidsport we have found a partner who will broadcast the matches of the German International Youth Championships on a professional level and thus make an important contribution to an exciting and high-class handball event."

- Tim Nimmesgern, project manager for the GIYC at D.SPORTS
