Traditional Handball Days Lübeck - 300 Teams on 30 fields

From 30 June to 3 July, the Hanseatic city of Lübeck will be the handball city. More than 3000 athletes from all over the world will take part in the traditional Handball Days Lübeck. A well known international event that this year will broadcast all games live from 30 fields, thanks to partnership with Solidsport. 

300 Teams will compete against each other at the largest handball event in the german-speaking area on almost 30 fields, including various national teams and future stars. The tournament, which is organized by MTV Lübeck, is an important stop on the way to the World and European Championships. The male U18 selection teams from Germany, Norway, Iceland and the Netherlands will be fine-tuning their skills for the EHF Euro, which will take place afterwards in Montenegro. The female U18 teams from Germany, Switzerland and Spain will then travel to the IHF World Championships in Northern Macedonia. The two tournaments, which will be held under the name Nations Cup in the Hansehalle are the highlights of the Handball Days.

The field of participants in the youth tournament which will be played on nearly 30 grass pitches in the Hanseatic city. In addition to teams from Scandinavia and Central Europe, there are also five teams from Asia, who have secured their place.

The organizers have used the pandemic to their advantage and expanded their offer. Thanks to the support of the streaming provider Solidsport, all matches of the Handball Days Lübeck can be seen live and on demand. Spectators and interested parties do not have to be on site  to see the current and future national players in action.
